Privacy policy
Updated 23 October 2026.
Who is responsible for your information?
A World Beneath (AWB), Mosebacke Torg 4, 116 46 Stockholm, Sweden, is responsible for the processing of personal data on awb.se. For privacy enquiries, contact martin@awb.se, telephone +46 704 28 37 17.
Website operation and contact
When you visit, our hosting and security services process technical information such as your IP address, request time, requested page and browser information to deliver and protect the website. This is based on our legitimate interest in a functioning and secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
If you contact us by email, telephone or a contact form, we use the information you provide to handle your enquiry and any business relationship. Depending on the matter, this is based on steps before or performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)), or a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)). We retain this information for as long as the matter or relationship requires, and afterwards only where a legal obligation or justified need requires it. Authorised staff and suppliers providing hosting, security or communication services may process information for these purposes.
Optional services require your consent
Statistics, Google Maps and Vimeo videos stay off until you explicitly allow each service. Visiting or continuing to use the website does not constitute consent. You can reject all optional services and still use the website’s basic functions. Optional services rely on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
Statistics with Google Analytics 4
After statistics consent, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 load. We measure page visits and neutral counts of clicks on or copies from contact links: click_mail, click_tel, copied_mail and copied_tel. These events contain no email address, telephone number, link target, copied text or form contents. Page addresses are sent without query parameters or fragments; referral addresses are limited to their website origin.
Google processes device and visit information and pseudonymous cookie identifiers for these statistics. Analytics user and event data retention is set to two months, without resetting on new activity. Aggregated reports may remain longer. Google signals, user-provided data collection, automatic form and click measurement, personalised advertising and voluntary data sharing are disabled. Google Ads and Meta tags are paused. Consent for advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalisation remains denied even if you allow statistics.
Google Maps
After separate map consent, Google Maps loads only on pages containing a map. Google receives technical connection information, including your IP address, and may use cookies or other storage for the map service. Without consent, a local placeholder and our address are shown.
Vimeo videos
Vimeo players and externally hosted Vimeo video files load only after separate video consent, including videos on project and about pages. Without consent, a local placeholder is shown. Locally hosted videos do not need Vimeo consent. Vimeo receives connection and playback information, including your IP address, and may process it in the United States. Embedded players use dnt=1 to limit tracking; essential security cookies and existing Vimeo cookies may still be involved. See Vimeo’s privacy policy and player cookie information.
Website fonts from Adobe
To display the website in its intended, readable design, DIN Condensed Variable and Argent CF load directly from Adobe Fonts whenever you visit, independently of your choices for statistics, maps or Vimeo. Adobe receives your IP address to deliver the fonts, the website hostname and font/project information for delivery and licensing. Adobe states that the font delivery service sets or uses no cookies and receives but does not store your IP address. Adobe also uses delivery information for diagnostics and font licensing. We rely on our legitimate interest in the consistent and readable presentation of our website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). You may object using the contact details above. Adobe Fonts are separate from optional analytics and advertising services.
Recipients and processing outside the EU/EEA
Google and Vimeo process information after you allow their respective services. Adobe processes the connection information needed for font delivery on every visit, independently of those choices. Their global services may involve processing outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. Applicable transfer safeguards and supplier processing are described in Google’s privacy policy and Adobe’s Fonts privacy information. This also applies when you use the suppliers’ own features or follow links from a map.
Change or withdraw your choice
Open the permanent ”Privacy settings” button on the website to change individual services or reject all. Your choice is stored locally on your device for up to 180 days; return visits do not extend this period. Withdrawal stops statistics, removes the website’s own Analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop optional services that were already loaded. Changes also apply to other open awb.se tabs. We cannot remove cookies that Google or Vimeo set on their own domains; manage these in your browser. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Please contact us using the details above. You may also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
See our information about cookies and local storage. Changes to this policy will be published here with a new update date. New optional purposes require a new active choice. Earlier choices that do not include video consent do not enable Vimeo.
