Refined by the Sea

Brief
Highlight Talisker’s commitment to the ocean and the environment, as well as the launch of Talisker ‘The Wild Blue’, in a creative, innovative and engaging way.

The Work
To mark World Ocean Day on June 8, we partnered with glass artist Martin Ehrenswärd from Stockholms Glasbruk to create a one-of-a-kind glass artwork. The piece was made from recycled marine waste glass collected from Lake Mälaren by the organisation Hands2Ocean and was named ‘Refined by the Sea’. An exclusive symbol of sustainability that was auctioned off in support of Talisker’s charity partner, Blue Marine Foundation. A powerful reflection of Talisker’s coastal identity and deep-rooted environmental values.

As an extension of the concept, we hosted an intimate evening for selected food and beverage profiles, starting with a unique glassblowing workshop led by artist Fredrik Nielsen at The Garage, located on the island of Fjäderholmarna in Stockholm. Guests actively contributed to the creation of a collaborative art piece, followed by an exclusive seafood dinner at Restaurang Rökeriet, where Talisker’s distinctive whiskies took center stage.
